I have a confession to make. It's basically blogger blasphemy.
I HATE POLKA DOTS.
Although, let me be more specific. I don't mind them in interior design or household objects or even swimwear, but in clothing - NO, thank you! I used to own a black and white polka dot dress but I just felt like a fool every time I wore it. They remind me of Minnie Mouse or some sort of overgrown child's outfit. They can make a $200 sweater look chintzy and cheap and almost always look like an attempt to look retro gone all wrong.
Yet, they're all over the blogging world these days. What is with this?! Am I just completely missing the boat on a great trend? Is there a way to wear polka dots correctly and I just don't know about it??
